A fire statistic presented with impact over a full screen photograph.

Full screen photography was used to add impact to some of the statistics surrounding fire.

A cross section of a building with clickable hotspots.

Custom illustrated scenes were created, which explore and explain different aspects of fire safety.

A screen from the e-learning module showing a building diagram.

Detailed technical information was broken down into simplified interactions.

A highly visual screen. The learner clicks on the hotspots in the image for further information.

Different interactions were used throughout and information was presented using a highly visual approach.

Sample quiz question.

Knowledge check interactions were used throughout the modules to test the learner.

Fire Safety Materials

The Fire Protection Association (FPA – the UK’s national fire safety organisation) commissioned us to convert some of the FPA’s core learning materials into a series of 29 interactive e-learning modules.

With our guidance and support throughout the full design process, together we created a range of different interactive approaches, including some interactive simulations.

The result is an immersive programme which combines the FPA’s experience in providing quality learning materials with our e-learning expertise.
